For eons, all around the world,
humanity has gathered at seasonal markers
to celebrate and honor the gifts of the season.



You are invited to pause from the hustle and bustle of the holidays and join in this ancient tradition to:

  • Acknowledge nature’s rhythms
  • Renew your body, heart, mind & spirit by aligning with the winter energies
  • Sing together in honoring & celebration
  • Pause in stillness & silence
  • Participate in a candlelight ritual to welcome the Light

The winter solstice is a significant turning point in nature’s cycle, heralding the daylight hours beginning to lengthen once again. Yet the darkness, cold and uncertainty of the coming months can often stir fear and loneliness within us. 

Rather than distracting ourselves from those uncomfortable emotions with societal and commercial holiday hoopla, coming together reminds us of our deeper connection with nature and strengthens our communal bonds. A special feature this year will be a small group of girls sharing a few songs with us, bringing an intergenerational flavor into our circle.

All are welcome. Bring water and a cushion, mat or blanket to sit on, if you can. Some chairs and bolsters will also be available.

**To navigate by gps, use 142 Doctors Drive (Warren Dentistry), which shares the parking lot. Use the entrance at the left end of the building, #166.

– Suggested contribution range of $10 – 20
– All are welcome. Bring a friend!
– An RSVP is appreciated and not required.
– Feel free to arrive late or leave early, as needed.
– Bring water and a cushion, mat or blanket to sit on, if you are comfortable on the floor. Some chairs and bolsters will also be available.
